It all started back in 1959 when Richard Mauran wanted to create a quality fast-food burger chain. He was flipping through the Toronto Telegram and found a dealership that was closing down on Danforth Ave in Toronto, with the sign up for grabs. This dealership was called “Harvey's”. Mauran picked up the sign and installed it on the outside of his restaurant. With that, the first-of-its-kind Canadian burger chain focusing on customization was born.

Our Angus burger is made using Angus beef raised without the use of added hormones, steroids or antibiotics. The Original burger is made with beef and a proprietary blend of seasoning and spices.

We sure do! Our Veggie Burger is a fan favourite. We cook it on a dedicated section of our grill to keep things separate, however, there is a possibility of cross-contamination with animal-based products.

We use cheese curds made with 100% Canadian dairy in our poutine. These curds provide the perfect "squeak" and texture, standing up to the heat of our savory gravy for the ultimate poutine experience.

The classic Harvey's Poutine features our famous crispy fries, authentic cheese curds, and vegetarian gravy. Craving a twist? Try one of our specialty poutines, like Buffalo Chicken or Pickle Poutine!

Our poutines are made with vegetarian gravy. However, because our fries share cooking equipment with other menu items, there is always a chance of cross-contamination in our kitchens.

While our fries are made from 100% Canadian potatoes and don't contain gluten, they are cooked in shared fryers alongside items that may contain wheat or gluten. Guests with severe sensitivities should exercise caution.

While our poutine is made with vegetarian gravy, it is not considered gluten-free. Both the gravy and the fries are prepared in an environment with shared equipment where cross-contamination with gluten-containing ingredients is possible.

While items like our garden salads and shakes don't contain gluten ingredients, our kitchens use shared equipment and preparation areas. Because of this, we can't guarantee a strictly gluten-free meal. Please check our detailed allergen guide before ordering.
