IN 1959...

Richard Mauran set out to create an elevated fast-food burger restaurant. While thinking about what to name his restaurant, Mauran discovered a car dealership on Danforth Avenue, called Harvey’s, that was closing down. He purchased their sign, and installed the dealership logo outside the first Harvey’s restaurant in Richmond Hill, Ontario. With that, Harvey’s was born!

Harvey's is committed to sourcing ingredients from Canadian farms—strengthening local communities and supporting sustainability.

Raised without the use of antibiotics, added hormones or steroids

From 2021 to 2026, we partnered with Tree Canada to plant over 250,000 trees across the country. This initiative compensated for an estimated 50,000 tonnes of CO2, enough to cover all our drive-through emissions nationwide. We are thrilled to have reached this goal, and remain committed to ensuring that Canada’s natural beauty is preserved for generations to come.
